Keeps calling and never leaves a message.

Recieved a phone call from this number a few minutes ago...I answered and no one was there. I hit *69, retrieved the number, dailed the number and it states that "this verizone wireless number has been changed or is unavailable." Strange and annoying...I hope this is the last call from this number

This is from Camden County Jail. I have found out that any inmate in that jail can arbitrarily call any one they want and try to make a collect call. The shift manager that I spoke to says that there is nothing they can do about it and it is their "1st Amendment Right" to call anyone they want. Sounds like the inmates are running the jail instead of the County. This is outrageous! Heck, what is to stop an inmate from running his drug trade from jail? Is this an American jail or is this a Mexican Jail? I guess the New Jersey legislators do not have a problem with it or they would make a law to have all inmates only call pre-approved numbers that they have permission to call in writing. Like I said, it looks as if the inmates are the one running the jail.

called about a credit card

He called last Friday evening at 9:00 PM. On the caller id, it shows ER Surveys. There was a brief delay, but sounded non-typical from an autodialer. It sounded as though he had a mouthful of food once he did come on the line. He woke up my husband and our toddler. He was apologetic. I told him if he wanted to reach my husband then he needed to call on Saturday. He called back tonight at 8:50 PM. I was not pleasant this time around. When he asked for my husband, he stumbled through his name and also sounded like he had food in his mouth. I chewed him out for not being considerate and waking up our toddler again. I said if you want to get a hold of him that bad, you need to call back before 8 PM or on the weekends. While I was in mid-sentence, he hung up on me. When I called the number back, I received the recording that my call couldn't go through as dialed. What a schmuck.
